OUR JOURNEY BEGINS

The inception of our venture mirrors the spirit of rough and dirt bikes - challenging and adventurous. Establishing a business in Timor-Leste, a nascent country fraught with hurdles in human resources and legal frameworks, presented its own set of challenges.

Anas Madeira embarked on his journey in tourism in 2014, immediately after completing high school. Starting as a waitress in a local restaurant, Anas honed his skills and immersed himself in the tourism industry. Over several months, he began to recognize the untapped potential in both himself and Timor-Leste.

Anas, along with a colleague from the same restaurant, initiated discussions with the Australian owner of the establishment. The idea was simple yet innovative - placing one or two scooters in the restaurant to cater to backpackers who often sought bike rentals. After negotiations, we reached an agreement to work at the restaurant without pay while establishing our bike rental business on the side.

From the initial placement of bikes in 2017, we gradually transitioned into running dirt bike tours in 2018. The breathtaking landscapes and pristine beauty of untouched Timor-Leste inspired us to share this experience with others.

Our business is proudly 100% Timorese-owned, rooted in a beautiful background of local culture. We are passionate about what we do, not only for the thrill of adventure but also for our commitment to supporting rural communities. By venturing into remote areas, we provide direct income to the local population.

When you choose our services, you're not only supporting our business but also making a direct positive impact on the livelihoods of communities in rural Timor-Leste. Thank you for being a part of our journey.
