Explore Timor-Leste on a 4-Day Motorcycle Adventure with Dili Dirt Bike Tours

THIS IS THE 7 DAY ADVENTURE 11-17 July 2026

Day 1 (Landing in Dili)

​Arrive in Timor-Leste and settle into your accommodation at Dive Timor. Meet your guides, get fitted to your motorcycle, and visit the Resistance Museum to gain a deeper understanding of the country's history, culture, and resilience. Welcome dinner in Dili.

Day 2​ (Dili-Maliana)

Ride along the northern coastline before heading into the western highlands. Enjoy a mix of sealed and rough roads, coastal views, mountain scenery, traditional villages, and stories of Timor-Leste's Portuguese heritage. Overnight in Maliana.

Day 3 (Maliana-Suai)

One of the most exciting riding days of the expedition. Travel through remote mountain villages, traditional houses, river crossings, and spectacular off-road terrain before descending to the south coast. Dinner by the beach in Suai.

Day 4 (Suai-Same)

Explore the rugged beauty of the south coast as you ride through remote communities and river crossings on your way to Same. In the evening, enjoy a community BBQ and cultural gathering with local residents.

Day 5 (Same-Maubisse)

Start the day exploring Same and cooling off in a natural swimming pool. After lunch, enjoy a relaxed ride through the mountains to the historic town of Maubisse, known for its cool climate and stunning views.

Day 6 (Maubisse-Dili)

Experience a traditional ceremony in Rabilau and learn about Timorese customs and culture. Enjoy a traditional family-style lunch before riding back to Dili for a farewell dinner and celebration with the group.

Day 7 (Departure)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure. Leave with unforgettable memories of Timor-Leste's landscapes, culture, history, and adventure.

PRICE

  • Solo - $2,750 per pax

  • 2+pax - $2,350 per pax

  • The minimum threshold to operate the tours – 3 Pax & max 15 pax.

Additional Price

  • $1,450 per pax for vehicle support - available for family members, children, or those who cannot ride. It will follow the group if there are at least three riders on the tour.

  • $1,600 Fee (for those who cannot ride but wish to participate as a passanger on the bike)

Guests’ Essentials

  • Suitable riding gear (e.g., comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes)

  • Valid driver’s license for operating a motorcycle

  • Personal items (e.g., sunscreen, water bottle)

  • Any required medications or personal necessities

  • Sufficient cash in USD, as it is the local currency in Dili

    If no gear, contact us; we’ll hire out riding gear for enjoyable ride!

Your Guides

  • One driver with a 4WD will transport all our bags, the First Aid Kit, an extra bike, and handle all logistics

  • One mechanic and an assistant mechanic will be accompanying us.

  • One tour leader will be guiding us throughout the journey.
